
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- The PGA Learning Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla., will host a Youth Golf Day this Saturday, May 17, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The event is complimentary to juniors 18 years old-and-under and will feature fun and exciting activities including: putting, pitching, and chipping games and contests, with prizes for all kids, along with practice targets on the golf range, field goals and spoon races.
The first 50 people to register for the event will receive a free one-day family pass to the PGA Learning Center. Kids will also receive goodie bags (while supplies last). Parents are invited to stay and practice with their children for a special Family Rate of just $10.
"With school almost out for the summer, junior golf is nearly in full swing," said Bob Baldassari, PGA general manager for PGA Village, which comprises the PGA Learning Center, PGA Golf Club and PGA Historical Center. "We invite golfers of all ages and abilities out to the PGA Learning Center this Saturday to discover how much fun golf can be for everyone."
The PGA Learning Center also encourages parents to bring their old golf clubs and donate them in support of on-going youth programs. Meanwhile, the PGA Historical Center golf museum will be open next door for tours from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., with complimentary admission for all ages.
