Han Chang-won takes a two-shot lead in Asian Amateur

SHENZHEN, China (AP) -- Han Chang-won of South Korea has shot a 1-under 71 to build a two-shot lead going into the final round of the Asian Amateur Championship, putting him one round away from earning an exemption to the Masters.

Han seized control Saturday with two early birdies, then hung on at Mission Hills to finish three rounds at 10-under 206. Eric Chun had a 66 to give himself a chance, leaving him two shots behind his countryman and in the final group.

Jordan Sherratt of Australia was 7 under.

The winner receives an exemption to the Masters and to the final stage of British Open qualifying.

The tournament began with 116 players from 30 countries in the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation. Going into the final round, 11 countries were represented among the top 10 and ties on the leaderboard.
