The most famous non-covered, non-photographed golf pairing in recent memory grew in legend even more as both Tiger Woods and President Barack Obama have started to share their thoughts on their round together.

Apologies if you've seen this before - this happened in January but it was featured on HLN this morning.  

Nine putters lined up - all sinking it into the same hole. Pretty cool.  Apparently, it took them 28 tries?

If a photo tells a thousand words - well, I have nothing much to add.  Play, during the LPGA Tour's season-opening Women's Australian Open, was interrupted and delayed as kangaroos decided to play through.

It was golf's worst kept secret but today it's official - Rory McIlroy has signed with Nike Golf.  And to herald the partnership, Nike has unveiled one of the coolest golf ads we've seen in a long time.

People ask me all the time, "What kind of golfer are you?"  My typical reply now is, "I'm not near as good as I once was - but I have more fun than ever before."  That's not all that eloquent but it's really accurate.  I was never GREAT - but was a low single digit for a little while, now I feel really lucky if I break 80 a couple of times a year.  That said, I honestly enjoy golf more than I ever have.  I don't play as much, so I appreciate it more - but that's not all.  Just being out there feels special.

My friends at TRUE Linkswear shoes have been leaders in bringing the minimalist movement to golf. Their philosophy of efficient design to utilize the anatomical features of the foot as opposed to highly structured and engineered footwear has proven to be a big commercial success. So that's a fancy of way of saying - they design shoes that make you feel as if you're barefoot, but give you the support you need for your golf swing. Tour player Ryan Moore is a part owner of the company - but also wears them while competing. So now they've come out with their 2013 line.
