On behalf of the 28,000 members of The PGA of America, I would like to welcome you to Twin Warriors Golf Club for The 36th PGA Club Professional Championship, the premier competitive event of the year for PGA Club Professionals.
Since 1968 when the first CPC winner, Howell Fraser, won $8,000 from a $50,000 purse, The CPC has grown into one of the year’s most exciting events. This year, defending Champion Barry Evans and the rest of the field will be playing for the coveted Walter Hagen Cup, their share of a $400,000 purse, and for one of the 25 berths into the PGA Championship. Golf fans will be able to enjoy 12 hours of live coverage and numerous highlights on The Golf Channel, our exclusive media partner.
Our thanks go out to all of the people here in New Mexico who have helped make our return to Santa Ana Pueblo so memorable.
