PGA of America releases limited number of 2019 PGA Championship ticket packages guaranteeing access to 2024 Ryder Cup tickets

Farmingdale, NY – The PGA of America has released a limited number of Ultimate Wanamaker Club Ticket Packages for the 2019 PGA Championship that provide guaranteed access to 2024 Ryder Cup tickets when they become available.

Starting at $2,700, the package features four (4) Weekly Wanamaker Club Tickets for the 2019 PGA Championship and a guaranteed opportunity to purchase two (2) Weekly Grounds Tickets for the 2024 Ryder Cup.

Held on US soil once every four years, the Ryder Cup has not been played in the Greater New York Metropolitan area since 1935 when it was held at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ. With the 2018 matches taking place in Paris and the 2022 event slated to be held in Rome, Italy, New York and Long Island add themselves to a distinguished list of Ryder Cup hosts.

The event which pits 12 of the best players from the United States against 12 of the best from Europe has evolved into the most spirited event in golf and one of the world’s greatest sporting events, period.

With demand for Ryder Cup tickets greatly exceeding what can be accommodated, tickets to the event are sold exclusively through a random draw process, meaning that very few fans are ever guaranteed an opportunity to purchase. For those interested in attending the Ryder Cup in 2024, the Ultimate Wanamaker Ticket Package will be the only way to bypass the random lottery process and guarantee access to tickets.
