Justin Rose comes painfully close to holing out back-to-back bunker shots

Thanks to some gnarly wind conditions, the start to the 2018 U.S. Open has been brutal for scoring. Only a handful of players have stayed at even or under-par during the morning wave.

And then his next bunker shot on the 15th hole, he came painfully close to putting this delicate bunker shot in the bottom of the cup.

Par is a quality score today, and shots like these will be crucial for those players looking to stay toward the top of the leaderboard.
