OAK BROOK TERRACE, Ill. -- Excel Golf Products, Inc. has re-signed PGA Tour player Mark Wilson to its Zero Friction staff, company officials have announced. For the second consecutive year, Wilson will be putting Zero Friction Tees in play at every event in which he competes.

2009 was Wilson's first year as a Zero Friction staff player, and he enjoyed his best season on the PGA Tour thus far. He made 21 of 28 cuts to go along with nine top-25 finishes and a win at the Mayakoba Classic.

"Mark is exactly the kind of person that we want representing our Zero Friction brand on tour," said John Iacono, founder and CEO of Excel Golf Products. "He's a hard-working individual, great with fans, and is one of the top performers week in and week out on the PGA Tour. We are proud to have Mark as one of our staff players."

Since its inception in 2005, the Zero Friction Performance Golf Tee has compiled more than 65 professional victories and more than 350 top-10 finishes worldwide. Zero Friction is the original biocomposite tee with its unique three-prong top that reduces the contact area at impact to aid both distance and accuracy.
