The course is in fantastic shape. The management has been diligent in closing the course on Monday and Tuesday mornings to maintain and repair the course, keeping it in excellent shape. The course favors longer hitters, but accuracy is a must as there are all kinds of hazards (water, sand, rough, brush, trees) if you don't find the fairway. The greens are in great shape and I recommend you practice putting on the practice green, to get used to the speed of the greens. In the morning the putts are slow, typical, but as the day progresses the greens can become very slick. Great bang for the buck, recommend playing it during the week if you can.

I also have to highly recommend to anyone trying to improve their game or enjoy the game more to take a lesson or two from Silas (Bud) Byers. He is a PGA Professional, 70 years old and has a lot of wisdom. If you practice what he shares with you, you will find yourself shooting lower and more consistent scores. He has really improved my short game, which is what I thought my strong point was!
