This course is recognized as the oldest course west of the Mississippi, established in 1892...Its a very challenging, short course with small greens, & tees close by in the classic walking tradition. Condition of fairways & greens is excellent , greens are relatively fast & is a great course to walk with friends.. Fairways are well defined & lies are many times difficult with lots of sidehill positions & enough bunkers to keep players on their game..
The clubhouse is open for both lunch & dinner Tuesday-Saturday & non-member play is allowed for golfers residing outside of Jefferson County & guests of members..
