David Shea
Course is very challenging. Water on most holes, with fairways "domed" so that water (and golfballs) run away from the center of the fairway. Medium sized greens, with a lot of swales and grading add to the challenge.
The course is very pretty, with many views of Albermarle Sound.
Price is very reasonable. Clubhouse and grill lack amenities. However, the clubhouse has a very nice ballroom/dining room for parties, weddings, and restaurant service (Fri. and Sat. eves).
Controlled usage means very nice pace of play.
A very nice place to enjoy a round with friends or to have a tournament.
