Fantastic little private hometown course that anyone can get on through any of the online teetime sites, great CC feel without the "snob" effect because staff and members seem to really want you to "be a part of" the facility (sort of "welcome home" style)! The only reason 4 of 5 stars is CC under new ownership and new name this year, MAPLE CHASE CC, which is great but a lot of new re-do/re-vamping going on with club/course/pool house as well as new teeboxes (slight length addition) and added pratice areas at the range...plans of end product look/seem AWESOME! Very mature, playable course with "natural" design from Ellis Maples in the 1950's that can and will challenge from the "tips"...or just pick any other tee (3-4 to chose from) and have casual, fun day of it. Pretty sure they have 1st TEE and Juniors' programs as well as a good core of Mid-Senior members/players (my age group, 40yr+) including a GREAT Ladies crowd. If you made this far, KUDOS, but maybe should be playing more than reading just like I need to and would HIGHLY recommend Pine Brook-Maple Chase CC...in fact, I'll be making PBCC/MCCC my new "home" club-course in the TRIAD area!! Keep swinging and "come chase more fun at Maple Chase" in my hometown, Winston-Salem, NC. Warm regards, Randy Myers ;-)
