Went to play Deer Run yesterday and it was terrible. The pro shop was almost empty, bathrooms were dirty at 7:30 in the morning.
As for the course, it was in unplayable condition. Mud covered over 50% of the fairways, greens were in terrible condition too. It was so bad, we played one hole and left. The guy at the counter refused a refund too, he said the course was fine!! Really?
I'd never go back and suggest everyone avoid this course like the plague unless they do some serious overhauling it. I can't believe anyone would waste their time or money here!
