I am the Emeritus Principal PGA Professional at Riverside Golf & Country Club located in Portland, OR., having previously been a PGA Professional at Treasure Kay Golf & CC located in Abaco, Bahamas. I am also a Certified Teaching Professional with the United States
Golf Tearchers Federation following a disinguished career in the practice of Law for more than 45 years in the southeastern Philadelphia metropolitan area. Summers previously fulltime in Portland, OR.
My former USGA Handicap Index issued by the Golf Association of Philadelphia from 1992 through 5/16/03 at Ashbourne Country Club, club # 56-010-1, GHIN # 7187-443, including rounds scored at surrounding clubs at years end through 5/16/12 averaged 4.0.
Riverside Golf & Country Club is rated at 3 of 5 stars. Its rolling terrain is nicely laid out making good use of the natural terrain & water course running through & adjacent to the property. To some extent it reminds me of my former home club. While under 7,000 yards, when the rough is allowed to grow and the fairways are narrowed for Championship play (like the Merion Course at the 2013 U.S. Open was) the course has been known to bring tournament players to their knees in frustration.
