Played Dunes on May 3. The course is incredible and the clubhouse staff are great. Our group got held up in traffic (we got lost) and arrived a few minutes late but the guys in the clubhouse were incredibly friendly and patient with us and got us on the course immediately. Robert Trent Jones did a masterful job of blending a parkland style course with the coastal setting. The front nine could easily be confused with a few of Tom Bendelow's designs. I forgot I was a block from the ocean until we stepped onto the par 3 ninth, facing back to the clubhouse and ocean and into a 4 club wind. Bent grass greens were in perfect shape. Woderfully firm white sand bunkers. Easily the best golf club in Myrtle Beach.
