What use to be a beautiful Robert Trent Jones course nestled at the edge of Smith Mountain Lake in Huddleston, VA when it first opened several years ago has turned into a uncontrolled nightmare at times. The upkeep of the course is unexplainable, the owners do not put any money into the course for upkeep. Although the design is a great one, the "want" to come back and play is killed by the condition of the course itself. If money was pumped back into it and made back into a playable destination then I would think about going back but until then, it's blacklisted.
