ABSOLUTELY GREAT COURSE! IT'S A "BUCKET LIST" COURSE.

An amazing course on the shores of Puget Sound. True links golf at its finest. A must play if in the area

I am fortunate to live just across the "Narrows" (Gig Harbor) from this spectacular course. We have a handful (or two), of spectacular courses here in the Puget Sound area, but this is absolutely my favorite. I'm also lucky to be a resident of Pierce County, and get to play for under $100.00.

If you have a chance to get to this area for a golf outing, don't hesitate to check out some of our other courses. Gold Mountain's "Olympic Course", Trophy Lake Golf & Casting and Washington National to name a few (and there are so many more). I think I'm just bloviating for living in a golfers paradise. But do make a trip to our side of the US and give it a try. It is worth it!

If you haven't played it, it's a must. The architects started with a big sandbox and totally designed a links course from nothing. every time I play it I'm awed that someone had enough imagination to design such an amazing links style course in the US.

I played Chambers Bay 2 years ago September thanks to a Christmas gift from my daughter who lived in Tacoma. I had a caddy for the 7 mile walk (up hill both ways) and if I hadn't I would still be there somewhere on the course. It was tough, one of the toughest I've ever played, but fair. However, after 60 years of golf I don't remember ever having a putt of 50 yards and still be on the green! No carts allowed when I played but I hope they reconsider for us old guys.

Challenging course with occasionally challenging weather. Beautiful views of South Puget Sound!

Such a beautiful course! I had the privilege of playing this course in Feb 2010 and can't wait to get back. If you go plan to have breakfast at their clubhouse the French Toast Creme Brulee is phenomenal.
