Mid Ocean Golf Club
The Mid Ocean Club, located in scenic Tucker's Town, is home to one of the greatest golf courses in the world. Built in 1921, by architect Charles Blair Macdonald, and gently modified by Robert Trent Jones, in the 1950s, the course has been graced by the presence of Dwight Eisenhower, Sir Winston Churchill, The Duke of Windsor, George Bush and Babe Ruth, to name just a few. In October of 2007, it will challenge the four major champions during the PGA Grand Slam of Golf.
The Mid Ocean Club was highlighted in Golf Digest's annual ranking of golf courses by gaining a 45th world ranking in courses outside the United States.
