By defeating the best players in the world over one of the most difficult courses in the world, Zach Johnson earned prestige, plenty of money and a coveted green jacket. The 31-year-old Iowan also earned a trip to Bermuda.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Masters Champion Zach Johnson, who captured his first green jacket in just his third start at Augusta National Golf Club, has earned a berth in the season-ending showcase of major Champions, the 25th PGA Grand Slam of Golf, to be hosted in Bermuda at the Mid Ocean Club and Fairmont Southampton Hotel.

Johnson, one of four rookie members who played on the 2006 United States Ryder Cup Team, follows U.S. Open Champion Jack Fleck (1955), as the only native Iowans to win a major Championship. He is scheduled to be joined in the PGA Grand Slam of Golf by the winners of the U.S. Open, Open Championship and PGA Championship, Oct. 16-17, 2007, in the 36-hole event broadcast by TNT to an audience of 89 million U.S. homes, along with an international audience of more than 100 countries in a prime-time telecast.

The PGA Grand Slam of Golf purse is $1.35 million, with the winner receiving $600,000; second place $300,000; third place $250,000; and fourth place $200,000.

The remaining berths in the 25th PGA Grand Slam of Golf will be determined at the U.S. Open, at Oakmont, Pa., June 14-17, 2007; the Open Championship at Carnoustie, Scotland, July 19-22, 2007; and the 89th PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla., Aug. 9-12, 2007.

Should a player win more than one major Championship this season, the foursome will be completed through the Major Champions Points List composed of past major Champions who compete in the current year's majors.
