Substantial regrading of this hole has turned it into a great risk and reward challenge for the stronger player. The tees set up a good view of the staggered bunkering in the target area. A downhill tee shot then brings the uphill approach into view. A false front shows some of the putting surface of this very large elevated green that can be reached with a long second shot. A deep bunker cut into the bank on the left and smaller bunkers on the right protect the steep fall away on this side. A first view of the ocean opens up dramatically behind the green.
