Maruman launches its elite Majesty Vanquish VR club line for 2011

Maruman Golf has introduced its new line of Majesty Vanquish VR line of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons for 2011, and it is available now. Maruman's flagship model, the "Majesty Series," is the realization of every technological innovation the company has pioneered over the last four decades, Maruman officials said. The distance and trajectory that the Majesty Series provides, they said will reward those who seek and demand the finest in luxury, quality and beauty. Maruman has developed its own unique titanium called Fullerene Titanium, which is a material developed by incorporating nano-technology, which strengthens the clubhead and gives freedom to the design. The full usage of FEM stress analysis combined with 20 years of computer-aided design (CAD) experience allow Maruman to hone into a high precision of wall thickness and stiffness, while the company’s Super Levitation Casting is used to precisely convert the design into a beautifully and precisely crafted head. The clubfaces are made using what company officials call High Modulus Titanium, which is difficult to deform, allowing Maruman engineers to make the faces extremely thin. Its specific gravity is so light, officials said, that Maruman has succeeded to make the weight approximately 4 percent lighter than the toughest Nano Titanium. The 2011 Majesty Vanquish VR Driver introduces a "New Twin Unit Structure" to help realize longer distance and gracefulness. It promises longer distance due to higher launch angle and optimum spin, which is ideal for golfers with mid to low clubhead speed (83-95 mph). This driver also has low center of gravity (COG) to control unwanted spin (4 millimeters above face center). It features a wider, more effective hitting area and what company officials call an optimum center of gravity (COG) depth for a 46-inch driver. It is available in four shaft flexes as well as 10.5 and 11.5 degrees of loft, and carries a suggested retail price of $1,399. The new fairway wood is made from what Maruman calls the Toughest Maraging Steel Face. It features Thin-Walled Top and Double Tungsten Weights to achieve straighter ball flight with high trajectory and optimum spin. These large-headed fairway woods are available in 3-wood, 5-wood and 7-wood, each with four shaft options. They carry a suggested retail price of $1,099. In the Majesty Vanquish VR Hybrid, the adoption of the toughest Maraging Steel onto the face allows for longer distance with an easier swing. These hybrids are available in four different degrees of loft and four shaft options. They carry a suggested retail price of $749. The Majesty Vanquish VR Irons feature a solid and innovated head structure that provides a solid shot with a low COG. The unique head design provides a sense of security, Maruman said, allowing greater forgiveness with the long irons and pinpoint accuracy with the short irons. Each eight-piece set features 5-iron through pitching wedge, and each club is available in four shaft options. Each set carries a suggested retail price of $4,299.
