"Throughout the past decade, we have continued supporting the PGA Merchandise Show because it remains a valuable new product launching pad, providing us with an amazing opportunity to reach PGA Professionals, retailers, buyers and a virtual who's who of golf media, simultaneously," said Dan Murphy, Vice-President of Marketing -- Bridgestone Golf, Inc. "The PGA Show has been a large contributor to our fast growth in the industry and we continue to believe in its importance in our marketing mix. We are excited about the new golf balls we'll be unveiling to the world this year, and we're also excited about sharing with our customers new and innovative ways for them to help us educate consumers on the importance of science-based ball-fitting -- an initiative we first introduced to the golf world at the 2008 PGA Show."
During Outdoor Demo Day, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge in Orlando, Bridgestone will showcase its full line of 2011 balls and clubs. In addition, at Indoor Demo Days, in the Equipment Test Center on the Show floor and in their booth, Bridgestone will offer attendees the chance to experience their industry-leading ball-fitting system. From Thursday, Jan. 27 through Saturday, Jan. 29, at the Orange County Convention Center, the Bridgestone and Precept brands will help anchor the equipment hall with a significant marketing, demonstration and exhibition presence, including four Bridgestone Golfball-Fitting Stations within the company's booth.
Nearly 1,000 golf vendors, representing every business sector of golf from all the golf market leaders to start-up companies, will display and demonstrate hundreds of thousands of golf merchandise that will appear in golf shops and retail stores throughout the 2011 golf season.
"We are pleased to welcome back Bridgestone to the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show," said PGA Golf Exhibitions Senior Vice President Ed Several.
