No. 12 — Long Shot

The par five twelfth is sure to be remembered for its massive length and delightful beauty. A 22 acre lake engulfs the entire left side of this hole from tee to green while panoramic vistas of Mount Bachelor are visible just above the surrounding pine forest. The drive from the back two tees must be played across the lake directly at a distant directional bunker. A second fairway bunker must be maneuvered up the proper approach to the green. The putting surface is small and delicate and is protected by water and sand on all sides but the front. A birdie here will require both brains and brawn.
