No. 16 — Marsh Corner

The drive on the par five sixteenth should be placed just inside the bordering wetlands on the right. The second shot must fit in between tall rolling mounds both right and left. With a following wind it may be possible to reach the green in two shots though most often a player will need to avoid the four fairway bunkers right or one long fairway bunker left. The putting surface slopes decidedly away on the approach making short pitch shots diabolically difficult. The hole is sure to leave many a player confused and frustrated for what might have been.
