Scott Hebert of Michigan won the 2008 PGA Professional National Championship Sunday, edging Georgia's Sonny Skinner. The two had shared the third-round lead with Kyle Flinton, and Hebert's closing 68 was a single shot better than Skinner's 69.

The 2009 PGA Professional National Championship will be contested June 28-July 1, 2009, at Twin Warriors Golf Club and Santa Ana Golf Club. The dates mark the first time that the showcase event for PGA Professionals will conclude on a weekday.
