A straightforward opening hole where left is the place to be from tee to green. A fairway bunker on the right needs to be avoided on the tee shot, which does not demand using a driver. Although length is not necessarily an issue off the tee, accuracy is, as there are out-of-bounds markers on both left and right off the tee. A slightly downhill approach shot can end up in another bunker on the back right of the green if the shot is slightly pushed.
