We've watched this shot roughly 15 times and still can't believe it didn't stay in the hole.

A fairly common cry from golfers of any ability is: "How did that not go in?"

In a lot of cases, the answer is simple if tou ask said golfer's playing companions.

Among those answers you might keep to yourself: "Uh, dude, you didn't hit it hard enough"; Umm... you were never on line in the first place"; "What shot were you looking at?"

None of those snarky replies apply to Web.com Tour player Jimmy Gunn from Scotland in the first round of the United Leasing & Finance Championship in Indiana on Thursday.

That dude got straight-up hosed with his second shot into the par-4 12th hole.

Check out this shot, which bounces on the green, hits near the top of the flagstick, bounces straight down, disappearing into the cup before inexplicably hopping back out and settling within inches of the cup for a tap-in birdie.

Are you too good for your home, ball?!

Surely Gunn won't be disappointed with the birdie that got him to 5 under for the day and in sole possession of the lead at the time.
