Did you see Bubba on Leno?

Our friends at NBC did us sports fans no favor by booking Bubba Watson on "The Tonight Show" Monday night – opposite both Monday Night Football and two different Major League Baseball playoff games. Heck, I didn’t even know Bubba was gonna be on until after the show was over.

But thanks to the Internet, you can see Bubba’s appearance, and it is well worth the eight minutes it’ll take to watch. In the first segment, Bubba and Jay chat about topics ranging from the Ryder Cup to Twitter to Justin Bieber.

The second segment is what you really want to see – Jay has Bubba pick up his famous pink driver and whale away at several food items of various sizes and consistencies a la Gallagher. Bubba starts out with a bell pepper, and works his way up to a full-sized cake with Leno’s face on it. Needless to say, we should all be grateful we aren’t the staffers who had to clean that mess up.
