PGA Tour player Jason Kokrak hit what's guesstimated to be a 1-million-to-1 kind of golf shot in the McGladrey Classic Pro-Am on Wednesday.
Playing the 409-yard, par-4 fifth hole at the Seaside Course in Sea Island, Ga., the 6-foot-4, 225-pound Kokrak ripped a drive that not only reached the green, but hit the pin before disappearing into the hole.
Later, the 28-year-old Kokrak sent out this tweet:
It was Kokrak's fourth hole-in-one overall, but his first on a par 4 and first that didn't come in competition.
For the record, there has only ever been one hole-in-one on a par 4 in PGA Tour history during competition. That feat belongs to Andrew Magee, who turned the trick on the 17th hole at TPC Scottsdale in 2001.
Former Tour player Tom Byrum was up ahead on the green. Magee's ball ricocheted off Byrum's putter, caromed about eight feet and then dropped in for an unbelievable ace.
