Join me on Patriot Golf Day

You'll often hear/read me say (whine?) that I wished I played more golf. I have a ton of excuses, very few legitimate reasons. I can and should play more. But that's a different post altogether.

This post revolves around the one weekend each year that I always commit to golf. I hope you will too.

The bottom line is: Almost everyone says they love our nation's heroes, those willing to go and fight to defend our nation and national interest. Far fewer do something to support them. So when an opportunity comes up to help those who've either been injured or help the families of those that have been killed, we should all step up to the plate. And if you can do it by playing golf - cmon, that's a no-brainer. 

Patriot Golf Day has now grown into four days. (Labor Day Weekend - Friday thru Monday).  We'll post more stories about Patriot Golf Day in the week ahead.  I just wanted to post a promise and a plea that I'll be playing next week - I hope you will too.
