Nightmare 18: The hardest holes, by number, in the 2016-17 PGA Tour regular season

There's always that one hole you get to on your home course that you dread.

You know the one I'm talking about. It's the one that gets in your head long before you arrive at the tee box. The one that could make or break your round.

Once you get through it, you either breathe a deep sigh of relief, or you're cursing it.

What if you had to play an entire round that encapsulated 18 of those holes?

If we were to make a course out of these 18 holes, par would be set at 68 and it would measure 7,628 yards in length. There would be 14 par-4 holes and four par 3s... no par 5s.

Here's a look at the PGA Tour's nightmare 18 from the 2016-17 regular season -- the 18 holes, in order, by number, that played as the most difficult.
