Patrick Reed channeling Ryder Cup with hole out at US Open

Patrick Reed is having himself a day so far during Round 3 of the US Open.

What might be fueling this turnaround after firing a 3-over 75 on Friday? It's all in the pants apparently.

Reed was spotted early in his round sporting the famous USA pants that he wore en route to leading the US team to a Ryder Cup win a few hours away from Erin Hills at Hazeltine last October.

Following back-to-back birdies on the 6th and 7th holes, Reed took aim at the pin from 50 yards out and found the bottom of the cup to move to 4-under for the tournament, three shots back of the leaders who tee off later this afternoon.
