Rickie Fowler pitches in for remarkable birdie to square Presidents Cup match

We're less than an hour into the 2017 Presidents Cup and we already have fireworks.

That's what these team competitions do.

In their match against the International team of Charl Schwartzel and Hideki Matsuyama, Americans Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler were 1 down after one hole.

But, at the third hole in the foursomes format (alternate shot), the Americans quickly pulled back to all square thanks to this magnificent birdie chip-in by Fowler.

Moments later, Schwartzel was unable to hole a bunker shot for birdie to match Fowler and remain 1 up.

This will be the first of many great shots we'll see over the next four days.
