Someone attempted to retrieve a putter out of the water, failed, and hilarity ensued

The end result may not have been what she was hoping for, but it’s the thought that counts.

The HNA Open de France is the European Tour’s event this week, and and an errant club landed in what can kindly be described as less-than-clean water. A brave soul attempted to go retrieve the club.

She came up empty. Well, half-empty. Take a look:

It’s hard to say who’s having more fun in that clip – the players, or the announcers. "Don't do it, madam, don't do it!" If only she could have heard him.
