Sunday Funday

I've never really liked the term "golf season." Yes, I understand it for parts of the country, but golf is played all year - and in terms of the best time to play, golf in the Fall is hard to beat. And though I realize the majors are done for the year, there's this little event coming up in a few weeks that you might enjoy - we like to call it the "Ryder Cup."
So here comes September - and cooler temps, a little color in the trees and some football to boot. Best time of the year? I vote yes.
This morning means some time at the range, a quick lunch and then home to sit on the couch and watch the opening Sunday of NFL season. I think I may be one of 100 million people doing something similar (give or take a few). And I'm going to enjoy every moment of it.
There's no other significant point to make other than - I hope this Sunday is the start of a great day for all sports fans. Watch, play and enjoy. Here's to a great Fall season!
