Tiger Woods, Patrick Reed paired at Hero World Challenge

The week of Tiger Woods' return to competitive golf is upon us. And in case that simple fact wasn't good enough for you, we now have the pairings for the first round revealing what should be an exciting group to watch: Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed.

Patrick Reed is one of many current golf stars brought up in the era of Woods' dominance. The two share a good friendship, as well as a similar Sunday wardrobe. Said Reed in 2014 after winning the Cadillac Championship with Woods in the field, "The best player ever to live when I was growing up wore black pants, a red shirt. I was growing up watching him, I always thought, you know, it would be cool to wear black and red come down Sunday." 

In addition to the Woods/Reed pairing, there are a few Ryder Cup teammates playing together. Most notably, Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose will reunite playing against each other after being paired together for three rounds during the Ryder Cup. They finished with a 1-2 record.
