It has been a very fun year on the PGA.com Twitter account. We’ve enjoyed sharing with you some of the best photos, videos and golf stories we can fit in 140 characters.

We laughed together as our favorite golfers did some hilarious things on the course. We cried together as we mourned the loss of one of the greatest golfers to play the game. And we did a lot of celebrating together as the US won its first Ryder Cup since 2008.

Let’s take a look back at some of the top moments of the year, as voted on by you, our Twitter followers through the act of liking, retweeting and responding to our posts.

8. British stars team up for Drive, Chip, Putt
The annual Drive, Chip, Putt competition brings out the best young golfers from across the country. It also brings out some of the world’s biggest stars. Olympic gold medalist Justin Rose seemed kind of like a normal guy next to Irish superstar singer Niall Horan.

7. Patrick Reed drains it from downtown
Patrick Reed made a name for himself as Captain America during the Ryder Cup thanks to moments like this. We can’t watch this shot enough times.

6. A tribute to The King
4 Green Jackets, 1 U.S. Open title, 2 Open Championships, 6 Ryder Cup teams, 62 PGA Tour wins. 1 dynamic personality to capture the hearts of us all and take the game of golf to unthinkable heights.

5. Oh, hey, Niall!
Niall Horan is back again in our top tweets list. He’s a big golf fan and we’re happy cameras captured him enjoying the Ryder Cup so we could give him a shout out.

4. Victory for USA!

The United States won the Ryder Cup for the first time since 2008 and set off a wave of celebration.

3. Farewell, Arnie

2. The 23rd wheel
It’s rough being the third wheel on a night out. It’s really rough when you’re celebrating with 11 of your teammates getting a nice celebratory kiss from their lovely ladies. But when you’re Rickie Fowler, you just roll with the punches and land one of the best photos of the year.

1. A gold medal mic drop
When you’re the most decorated Olympian ever, you’re quite accustomed to performing at the highest levels. And that includes trolling on the golf course. When asked by a fan what he was using for a ball marker during the celebrity shootout, Michael Phelps gave a gold medal answer for the ages.
