Pebble Beach: MLB-best Chicago Cubs play 18 holes at famous course

The Chicago Cubs are in Oakland to take on the Athletics this weekend, and baseball’s best team decided to hit the links on its off day.

A group of prominent Cubs played 18 holes at Pebble Beach Golf Links on Thursday on an overcast afternoon. Chicago first baseman Anthon Rizzo tweeted out the team’s visit:

Starting pitcher Jon Lester, who beat the Athletics on Friday night, had a brief playing stint in Oakland a few years back. Lester booked the Cubs’ tee-time at Pebble Beach.

Any guesses on who shot the lowest score in this picture? Something tells me Rizzo has a sweet lefty stroke.
