CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand -- New Zealand's Mark Brown takes a three-stroke lead into the final round of the BMW New Zealand Open on the PGA Tour of AustralAsia after shooting a 6-under 66 on Saturday.

Brown had five birdies on his outward nine to reach 7 under at the turn before coming back to the field with a bogey at No. 17 at the Clearwater Resort.

His three-round total of 5-under 211 puts him three strokes ahead of Australians Peter Wilson and 19-year-old amateur Jake Higginbottom, who shot 71 to maintain his overnight second placing.  Veteran Australian Peter O'Malley had a 68 to move into a share of fourth place.
