Matt Kuchar hits hole-in-one, misses out on car

Follow the example of Matt Kuchar and make sure you read the fine print when going for a big prize.

First, the impressive part of the story. Kuchar hit the shot of the day at Round 3 of the HSBC Champions in Shanghai, China when he hit a hole-in-one on the difficult 193-yard, par 3 17th hole.

What isn't shown in that clip is there was a car perched behind the tee for whomever made an ace. 

However, Kuchar happened to read the fine print before the round. Because the tee had been moved forward, there was a notice that the car would not be awarded Saturday because insurance only covered a tee shot of 200 yards.

"That was probably one of the saddest hole-in-ones I've ever had," Kuchar said.

So, to all you weekend warriors out there, make sure you tee off from the right distance if you're trying to be the big winner at your next outing.
