For all of the 80 participants in the National Finals, Sunday's competition — on one of golf's grandest stages — made for indelible memories. But for eight, it was a chance to call themselves national champions for their age groups.

Eight Masters champions with a combined 15 titles donned their Green Jackets to present trophies to the winners and pose for photos: Nick Faldo, Mark O’Meara, Gary Player, Trevor Immelman, Adam Scott, Bubba Watson, Ben Crenshaw and Tom Watson.

The legacy of Francis Ouimet isn’t lost on Ty Griggs. It makes the lucky penny once used by Ouimet to mark his golf ball, a coin now in Griggs’ possession, a special reminder. Ty is a distant relative of the man who won the U.S. Open in 1913 as a 20-year-old amateur and changed the face of golf in America.

For Mia Raines, it's been a journey that began in China's Jiangsu province. She was born there and later adopted at 13 months old by Michelle and Nolan, the second of three girls for the Galena, Ohio, family. The Raines first adopted Leila, 14, from Moscow at 2 years old; Kara, a 17-year-old high school junior who has verbally committed to play golf at Youngstown State, came from China at age 11.

The ride to any golf course before a tournament can produce its fair share of tension. But those emotions were understandably elevated Sunday morning because they were playing in the National Finals of the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship.

U.S. Open champion Justin Rose and a pair of iconic pop stars, Justin Timberlake and Niall Horan, surprised the contestants Saturday afternoon with a visit to their practice ground.

Tune in to Golf Channel from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET on Sunday to watch the 2016 Drive, Chip & Putt Championship. The National Finals are the culmination of an unprecedented collaboration between the Masters Tournament, the United States Golf Association and the PGA of America.
