SUNRIVER, Oregon -- Jeff Martin, PGA Head Professional at Norton Country Club in Norton, Mass., has enjoyed success through the years in the PGA Professional Championship.

His best finish was a T10 in 2008, which led to the first of three PGA Championship starts.

At Sunriver Resort this week, however, the 43-year-old Rhode Island native missed the cut after rounds of 81-72.

So what do you do when you miss a cut nearly 3,000 miles away from home?

If you're Martin, you play in the snow.

Despite the fact that it hit nearly 90 degrees at Sunriver on Monday, Martin and his caddie took a trek over to the base of Mt. Bachelor, where Martin decided to peg it:

This isn't the first time Martin has played in the snow
