In this day and age, thanks to technology, you really don't have to leave the golf course when, well, you leave the golf course.
Social Media -- be it Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, a YouTube channel, Google+, or anything else -- allows us all to engage, connect and get an inside peak on everything from golf course management, to golf course maintenance to behind the scenes information at tournaments and more.
So, we wondered, what golf course has the best Social Media presence? That's the question that we posed to the 215,500+ strong in PGA.com Facebook Nation for this week's, "A Quick Nine."

9. Philadelphia Cricket Club in Philadelphia, Pa. Facebook friend Matthew Fogg wrote in this about the Philadelphia Cricket Club: "Constant updates regarding course conditions and events. Dan Meersman, Head Groundskeeper, chronicled the restoration of the Wissahickon course on Twitter!"
8. Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Fla. Wrote Thomas Vasquez: "Arnie's place. They post on their Facebook page constantly. Pics of the course, the clubhouse and, of course, the man himself. Stayed and played there once and loved it.
7. East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga. Reader Matthew Brewer enjoys the East Lake Twitter page, which you can find, @eastlakegc. Brewer wrote in, "East Lake for the Tour Championship. Only the top 30 players in the FedExCup Points, the best of the best, showdown for the final tournament of the year and the biggest purse to be obtained. Twitter has a great presence for the tournament, up to date on scores, players, photos, and course conditions."
6. Kapalua in Lahaina, Hawaii. Kapalua's Plantation Course played host to the Tournament of Champions just a few weeks ago. With breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, Kapalua and social media are a perfect fit. Many of you enjoy the Kapalua Twitter page -- @GolfatKapalua -- because of its photos and, as reader Anders Haukoos notes, "They retweet not only professionals that played in the field, but also regular people who play the course."
4. St. Andrews in St. Andrews, Scotland. When it comes to Twitter, the birthplace of golf is on the cutting edge. Facebook friend Ryan Sosamon wrote in: "St. Andrews is constantly updating course conditions almost hourly on Twitter, not to mention the historical significance of the course and tournament when hosting The Open!"

3. Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Ore. This incredible resort on Oregon's rugged Pacific coast, boasts breathtaking view after breathtaking view. It's a golfer's and a photographer's paradise. Writes reader Craig Ward: "They post good photos and share guests photos on Twitter. They also respond to most comments."

2. Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C. Pinehurst's famed No. 2 course will host both the men's and women's U.S. Open in back-to-back weeks in 2014. Amazing. Reader Brian Cook wrote of Pinehurst, "They do a great job of capturing what makes that place special in all their posts."
1. Augusta National in Augusta, Ga. Among all the responses we received this week, no other place received more positive feedback than Augusta National, the home of the Masters Tournament. Facebook friend Garrett Nettz wrote: "The Masters Tournament has easily the best web presence. Live feeds for free on the website during the week is enough, also a great Twitter feed."
Randy A Chambers is also a big fan: "Augusta -- they show the real beauty that golf has to offer whether you play the game or not. Everyone loves the true beauty of Augusta."
