The PGA of America's Official Guide to the 38th Ryder Cup is set to be distributed to select retail newsstands and PGA Professional-staffed facilities on September 18th. At almost 200 pages in length, this superbly designed and produced preview magazine delves into every aspect of golf's most exciting and iconic team event, from its history, to the players and captains who will be representing the U.S. and Europe at Celtic Manor Resort in Wales, U.K., October 1-3.

The Official Guide to the 38th Ryder Cup has something to cater to the particular interests of nearly every golf fan, including:

Profiles of all 24 players who will take part in the upcoming matches; In-depth interviews with Captains Corey Pavin and Colin Montgomerie; Further interviews with a hand-picked selection of players – Masters Champion Phil Mickelson, U.S. Open Champion Graeme McDowell, Hunter Mahan and Ian Poulter.

In addition, several of the premier elder statesmen of the game – Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tony Jacklin – also have their say, and share their own personal reminiscences of their Ryder Cup experiences, both as players and captains. Meanwhile, McDowell, who also won the Celtic Manor Wales Open just two weeks before his U.S. Open triumph at Pebble Beach, gives his inside take on how to best play every hole on the Twenty Ten Course.

On top of that, there are articles on the various aspects of the Ryder Cup's history; comment, analysis and argument from some of the most insightful golf writers on both sides of the Atlantic; and much, much more.

Priced competitively at $5.95, the Official Guide to the 38th Ryder Cup will be available for purchase on PGA.com, at all Barnes and Noble stores across the United States, and at many other leading book stores. An electronic version of the magazine will also be accessible on RyderCup.com and PGA.com from September 20th onwards.

Thousands of PGA Professional-staffed golf facilities will also be receiving copies of the Guide to display in their golf shops and share with club members and customers.
