Best may be yet to come for dominating Woods this year

With his victory at St. Andrews giving him his third year with multiple major titles, Tiger Woods continues to distance himself from his fellow players and march inexorably closer to Jack Nicklaus and the other all-time greats. He'll be the prohibitive favorite for a third major next month at the PGA Championship at Baltusrol, a long course that is right up his alley.

Tiger claims 10th major with blowout win at St. Andrews

Tiger Woods teased them for a while, then he did what he does best. Turning a one-shot lead on the 10th hole into a five-shot runaway win, Woods overpowered the Old Course at St. Andrews as only he can.

Once again, it's Tiger Woods and everyone else

Tiger Woods now has more majors than the rest of the Big Five combined.

That slamming sound you hear is the window of opportunity closing for the rest of the world's top golfers, says Jim Litke. With his swing changes in place, Tiger Woods looks like he's again well on his way to dominating the majors.

Notebook: Couples wonders what might have been

Fred Couples has a great Open record, despite never winning it.

A good week for Boom-Boom could have been a whole lot better. Plus, Nick Faldo gives himself a great birthday present, Tiger Woods overcomes an equipment malfunction, low amateur Lloyd Saltman confirms his future, and more.

Monty feels like he's back out of the wilderness

Colin Montgomerie thoroughly enjoyed his week as the crowd favorite.

Colin Montgomerie couldn't reel Tiger Woods in, but his second-place finish marked his best result in a major in eight years. And, he said, it showed that he is well on his way back after a prolonged slump and painful divorce.
