To get the best angle of attack into the 17th green the tee shot has to be hit blind over the corner of the hotel grounds on the right, as close as possible to the out-of-bounds wall. From there the ball can be worked down the length of the narrow green as it runs behind the infamous Road bunker where David Duval's challenge ended in 2000. Get too bold with the approach and the ball can drop off the back of the green on to the road.
