Mackie: There's a temptation to aim straight at the green on this left-to-right dog-leg, but the carry over Jockie's Burn is 280 yards and a clutch of bunkers and thick rough lie between the water and the green. The smart play is a lay up, leaving a full wedge to a green that curls to a second level behind bunkers on the left.
