Mackie: Players who can hit a power fade as consistently as Ben Hogan did when he won the championship here in 1953 will aim down the out-of-bounds fence on the left and let the ball work its way back into the narrow strip of fairway. Others may take on the carry over the central bunkers at 316 yards, but there are two more traps and rough just 30 yards beyond. The narrow green angles away to the right and is closely bunkered on both sides—a tough target with a long-iron or 3-wood approach.
