Mackie: With the wind against on the final day of the 1968 championship, Jack Nicklaus used driver at this hole and was the only player to get the ball pin high. Normally played down the prevailing south-west wind, under-clubbing causes the most problems. All the bunkers are at the front and heavy rough covers the mounds on the right.
