Mackie: A sweep of the Barry Burn and three bunkers mark the right edge of the fairway, but downwind there is enough room for contenders to reduce this to a drive and short iron. The burn takes one last swing across the front of the green, but it only becomes a serious threat if the wind turns round to the east. Then, with out-of-bounds uncomfortably close on the left, a long-iron approach into the final hole will be a true test of a champion's ball-striking ability.
