Now in high definition! Take a moment to see the sights at the 2008 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.
Villegas shines with 65; Shark still in hunt after 70
Contrary to popular belief, Royal Birkdale is not impregnable. Camilo Villegas closed his second round Friday with an eye-popping five consecutive birdies for a tournament-best 65, while Greg Norman continued his solid play with a 70 that left him in the clubhouse lead at even par.
Unlike Thursday's first round of the 137th Open Championship, Friday's second round began under marginally better conditions. Though the skies were still packed with clouds that looked like they could explode at any moment, the wind was manageable and no rain was falling, giving the field a better chance at solving Royal Birkdale.
